Well actually now the web interface in it's current incarnation is quite nice,
as long as you are using a javascript-capable browser, so for text mode linux,
that rules out lynx, but that's ok since I don't use it anyway.  
Actually IE6 even with a screen reader is quite nice.
I haven't checked out the listserver function yet, but the irc support is quite
interesting.
Perhaps I missunderstood his idea, but if all I had was a Linux box, I could
probably do most of the internet except for www.
