Many people (including me) leave their IRC clients running and joined to channels (like #bbs and #synchronet) they're interested in monitoring. And if they happen to be at the keyboard and see a conversation they wish to join, they do. So, there are many converstations on those channels on irc.synchro.net every day, but you have to be patient and wait for folks to notice you are there. For this reason, irc is not a good place to go for technical support, unless you're lucky and happen to find an expert at the keyboard willing and able to help you. See http://synchro.net/docs/support.html for more on this subject. digital man Snapple "Real Fact" #107: You burn more calories sleeping than watching TV. .
