I'm writing a Perl program to help put file areas together for my planned Synchronet BBS, working
from a database of the contents of numerous shareware compact discs.  I am curious about the format
of FILES.BBS (which it would write)  for the purposes of the utility ADDFILES.

Can it consist of lines beginning with filename.ext and continuing with a single space and a
description line up to 58 characters (with no other data such as file size or date included)?

Must additional description lines also be no longer than 58 characters each?

If there is a file size field (with location specified in the size_off argument) what is it used
for?
