Usually however, it occurs when I crash sbbsctrl.exe and open another instance because sbbsctrl.exe is still running as a process, I just lost the window or something. (I think this may have been when I was goofing around with the NT services and such, I can't remember..) Anyhow, like any typical windows system, the first step to troubleshooting your software is to restart and see if it is magically healed. Alternatively, do the old CTRL-ALT-Delete and see if you have another instance running and squash that. Finally, assuming you don't run another webserver already, you could possibly have some happy kind of virus that enjoys listening to port 80 because that's where the best tunes can be found! And if this doesn't help you, I wouldn't be surprised. Therefore, you could read http://www.synchro.net/docs/tcpip_faq.html#bind Good luck! -Mindless Automaton --- þ Synchronet .
