Ah. It seemed like he was saying you could type manual descriptions and 
export from synchronet to a *.bbs file, which to me, would defeat the point. 
I guess you discovered it does read the ID3. However yes, reading ID3 v2 
would definately be useful seeing as thats what people use now.

It would be smart of the MP3 people if they just removed ID3 v1 and just 
added code so that things that read v1 info can just pull that and ignore the 
rest... however, as far as i know, both formats are redundantly supported and 
in the mp3 file as two seperate things.
