FTP would be possible as it's session based.  HTTP wouldn't be... there was a
long discussion on this a while ago... essentially, it biols down to it would
be a guess if someone was "connected" via http rather than an actual statement
of fact, so the main htp developer (ie: me) was not interested in working on
that in any way.
