Our resident AOL'er (I mean whats up with "MRobliVious1BMF" as an alias 
anyways? Seems AOLish enough) was previously talking trash about Synchronet 
in alt.bbs when I explained to someone in EleBBS Conversation that I 
mentioned Synch because that and EleBBS are the only two good (and free) 
softwares that I know of with a web interface. Where as others, such as 
Wildcat and Glacticom have web interfaces, however cost *ALOT* of money.

Seeing as Synchronet is open source, it boggles my mind why somone hasn't 
taken it and made another BBS Package with it. I lost count of how many 
people back in the day would have loved to get the Renegade source code. Now 
that a VERY POWERFUL software is available and open source, there doesn't 
seem to be any interest.

Maybe things are just more appealing to most people when they know they can't 
have them! lol
