As Synchweb and Synchronet itself continue to improve, it will slowly push 
into the main stream. One thing that would help this along, is if we had 
superior anti-spam measures.

Lets face it, WE DO! The problem is, the BBS Scene is not as coordinated as 
it could be.

When I compile and release my filters, all I am simply doing, is moving my 
spam to a "Crap" folder in Netscape Mail. Then maybe a couple times a week, I 
go through and copy / paste as many of them as I feel like doing at the time, 
into a text file. I do domain bans on spammer domains using Synchronet 
Wildcards and full emaill addy domains if its something like 
spammer@yahoo.com).

I'd appreciate it if the rest of you would do the same, and email me with 
your lists from time to time for me to throw in the global release list.

It doesn't take much time. It's just moving the spam as opposed to deleting 
it, then compiling entires here and there whenever ya feel like it and get 
around to it. Thats how I do it.

For anyone who already does this PLEASE email me a copy in a *.zip 
attatchment. I'm sure Rob has a very large filter and if so, I'd appreciate a 
copy of that.

For any of you who don't have anything, please start compiling it. I'm not 
asking for alot of anyones time in this, just go through at your own pace 
whenever you feel like it, and email me when you've got about 50-100 or so 
new entries.

Everyones help is appreciated! This effort serves to bennefit EVERYONE so I 
hope alot of people decide to participate.

If I get 50 entires a month from 50 Sysops, that would be 2,500 new anti-spam 
entires per month for the global list. As i said, it wouldn't take much! :-)
