I purchased my first computer as a 'kit'. I had to solder the entire thing together. Over 50 TTL chips and 5 LSI devices, plus literally hundreds of resistors, diodes and caps. You even had to wind a coil! I bought a bunch of sockets so as not to have to solder the chips direct to the PCB, and heated up my Antex. It worked like a champ! Output on the British TV band. Remember the coil? Squeeze/stretch to shift the output and then tune the telly up/down the band to find it. --- þ Synchronet þ Synchronet Track-and-field: Discus event at The ANJO BBS .
