Easiest is to suid the tools:
chown sbbs:sbbs exec/*
chmod 4750 exec/sbbs exec/scfg exec/node exec/jsexec exec/umonitor exec/uedit
exec/baja

etc.

Even easier if using symlinks:
chown sbbs:sbbs gcc.freebsd.exe.release/*
chmod 4750 gcc.freebsd.exe.release/*
