Ouch. I'm sorry to hear that. For several years while you were making the 
film I was out of the scene for a long time and spending all my time in a 
frat, I didn't get back in until 2002 with Revival and that was pretty 
minimal as far as irc goes, I spent most of my time on my board I was making 
called the outzone. That really sucks though about peoples' attitudes, but 
then again... that's irc for you (which is why I make it a point to only 
come in every once in a while now on irc instead of keeping my box on idle 
in #ans/ansi). I suppose the art scene folks just aren't ready for that yet, 
or maybe they'll get to that point after this film (you mentioned a lot of 
them are pissed b/c they didn't get in (: ). Perhaps an internet bbs 
documentary sometime down the road after it's had some time to mature fully? 
I don't see it as fully matured yet since people weren't all on affordable 
broadband until just a few years ago.

Yeah, tough call I suppose. I've been offered a few hundred for ansi's as of 
late by a few different boards, but don't want them to get labeled as "ugh 
they paid sx for a setup..." (I know I used to rag on blackthursday for 
being catered by lord jazz (: ) Plus I don't have my damn paypal donate set 
up yet hahahha. (: I suppose when you mention in that light though, yeah I 
can definitely see where you were going with the wrap-up. Well, I'm 
definitely pretty satisfied now for one, props! (:
