By: Digital Man to Time Warrior on Mon Aug 01 2005 10:48 pm What I didn't quote I have nothing to reply with because you are right. So heres the rest. > You're the only person on the planent that I know of. And that "opinion" is > like having the "opinion" that the earth is flat. You can have that opinion > you want, but it's clearly false and I feel compelled to inform anyone that > expresses that "opinion" as such. > > To make THAT claim is giving some misinformation of your own :-) > Uh uh. Just because i'm the only one you've known that has that opinion does not mean others also do not. You'd need research to find that out as well. lol Either way, all i'm saying is don't assume i'm the only person on the planet who has my opinion. I'm not saying you are wrong about any of the technical data you've provided. I know your right. So moving on... > > No, I think you should treat any question as a question and give the ans > > without belittling the person asking the question. > I didn't belittle you. I simply pointed out that you were wrong and where yo > were wrong. Then you attempted to defend your statements or reduce them to > merely "opinions". Regardless, they're wrong. Well when you say things like "you are full of misunformation today, aren't you?" that comes off as polite belittling. Had you said "In answer to your question, no you're wrong" and gone on with your explanation, that would not be perceived as belitling. Now if we were friends it wouldn't be a big deal. However seeing as I'm unsure as to whether or not you truly hold animosity towards my past or if you are just poking fun, I just hope for the best and try to presume that poking fun is all you are doing. However I don't know for a fact, so some things come off as rude from you. Just as you perceive some things from me the same way because of my past, which is why no mater what I say or how I act in the present, you'll always have doubts. Like you said "his reputation speaks for itself". Well, I also used to shit my diapers as a baby and my parents don't hold it against me for having to change them :-) I was in my late teens and early 20's. Now I'm pushing 30 (27). If you wish to hold the past against me, thats your choice. However for me, the past has been left in the past. > > If one can learn to get past the "no, you're wrong, you moron" type respo > > (it took me awhile but i've managed! :-) > I've never called you moron (in public at least). :-) True. That you've reserved for email and irc :-) At least you've said it directly to me though. Gotta give ya credit there :-) > > then there is ALOT a person stands to learn from someone as > > knowledgable as you are. > There's a lot to learn from the web. Try using it. :-) The web scares me.
