The in-transit message you can clear (send) by running the exec/notransit.js
module (with the jsexec or use ";EXEC ?notransit").

It appears you have configured to your mail server to relay mail through
itself. This won't work. It either needs to be configured for direct delivery
or to relay through an *external* SMTP server. This would explain the
"looping".
