Actually, I heard that it was actually the other way around.  The Intel Mac's
will have some type of digital signature in hardware which is required for
x86-OSX to run, meaning that you will not be able to run OSX on non-Mac
hardware.  I'm not sure of the specifics of this scheme, though.

I am sure that SOMEONE will hack this behavior out of OSX soon after release.
