True, I'm not saying it's perfect, but being able to specify layout attributes aside from markup is much better than the flurry of tags that was around before html4 & css became more common place. As for a reference implimentation, I think that's only with css2.1, and xhtml 1.1, which are pretty new, would be happy to have ie, firefox and opera get to a fully implimented xhtml1 and css2 implimentation. -- Michael J.
