 Nothing the wrong with the web as long as the site isn't lame. Spam, 
spyware, scams, popups and the list goes on.... corporate whore marketing 
devices. For some things the web is better. For others, telnet is better. For 
example -- I like Synchweb because it can give people who prefer web forums a 
means to participate. However PERSONALLY, it would take me a practical 
eternity to get through a message scan via the web where as telnet is nice, 
fast and easy. I hit reply, its all on my screen. I quote, type and /s and it 
saves instantly. No world wide WAITING for the pages to proccess between 
views and posting new replies.

For pics, the web is good. For me to have a pic online -- gif to ansi just 
would be horrible and give an innacurate impress of me (or anyone or 
anything).

For some things we need the web. For others i feel its just too much and just 
bogs things down. However, to each their own.
