The module is called newssync and I have it. Your welcome to a copy *HOWEVER* 
it only works on Linux. If you are going to go this route and run a windows 
machine -- find a linux webhost with mysql support and who is nice enough to 
setup a cron job for the polling event, and have like 
http://forums.yourbbs.com or whatever.

If you can manage all that, newssync then can poll your Synchronet nntp.
