Absolutely. That's how exec/newslink.js works (for synchronizing message areas
with USENET newsgroups), how exec/nntpservice.js works (for serving up local
messagea areas via NNTP), and how exec/listserver.js works (for server up
local message areas as a mailing list. There are other examples as well. See
exec/*.js and the Synchronet object model documentation for more details.
