The "stock syndrome" ... however, Synchronet boards are hardly the first to 
have the "lazy / busy / dumb / other reasons here" Sysop problem. Back in the 
day, the Chicagoland Area MOSTLY used Renegade. Renegade boards with the 
"default menus" were *EVERYWHERE* ... Those boards typically would either end 
up with no users left and going down, or -- get nagged to death by the users 
and the sysop was motivated to at least drawn his or her own basic screens 
(or go downloaded a pd menu set that even as such, looked ALOT better than 
the default Renegade Menus).
