Why oh why would you put linux on it? I love linux, but I just get so sick of
trying to get sound servers to work, all those damn dependencies...you can
get alot of linux apps by using either darwinports or fink.  just install the
developer tools and the OSX X11 server.  OSX just works, linux wants to
work..but it just can't seem to get it right...
