it's funny you mention the both of those.. BeOS imho was horried.. but i just
bought my first MacOS X based computer since the old MacOS 7.xx days.. and i
did own a Mac 42xx.c er something like that.. basically it was the same as a
pentium 75mhz with 16meg ram and iirc a 2gig hd. it was an alright system a bit
slow though.. even for a pentium 75 comparison. it came with os 7.x i can't
remember the exact revision. later i bought macos 8.x and i just gave up on Mac
all together until i bought my MacMini on monday *well it arrived on monday*
anywho, it's not nearly as fast as a good PowerPC i'm sure of it. but it's more
like a ibook i think. it does have a 5200rpm 40gig hd in there. a lappytop hd.
well the point was i kinda like MacOS X but i'm thinking of hosing that and
putting a distro of linux on it. for some reason i just can't compute without
linux. 

ramble ramble.. that's what i do best :)
