Once they are running there I'll move them into my production server. At the moment I've been working on getting Usurper running. I've put Darklight aside for the time being. I've copied all the settings form the help page that DM has, and the game does start. I'm including it just in case) Now I have tried it with and without lines 3-4, (Manually edited) but I still get the problem. I've also tried using the bat files included, after suitable editing.
