How about a "specify start page after login" option?

The user could simply paste the url into the field and save it.

So lets say instead of main, the user would rather automatically start at 
email? Or forums? Or files? Oe maybe they'd prefer to see who's on?

They could copy / paste the Synchronet url into the field and save it, and 
after the user has logged in, Synchweb would take them there automatically.

The default of course would be the main page.

Speaking of which -- any ETA's on a user config menu? Kinda like Synchronet 
already has via telnet? :-) Signature, Telnet Shell, etc..etc..etc..
