Subj : Telgate/Mudgate Echo

Hello:

I've got to mud set up as an external using mudgate.
(External door setup *MUDGATE mud.address.here:1234 )

To get to the gate menu I hit CTRL-] and it puts ^] on the mud prompt and I have
to hit enter to get the menu.  (This might be normal, I don't know)

Echo is toggled on initially.  I tog it off and I can still see my echos. (I assume this
is the telnet client I use)

However, I get weird stuff happening, like I have to hit enter twice to send a command.
I've also had instances were when I quit to the BBS, I was getting double echo on the BBS!
(I think I got the double echo on the BBS when I tried to use TELGATE instead of mudgate)

I can telnet directly to the mud and I have no problems with echo.

Any ideas, suggestions, etc?
