I work for a fortune 20 company as a low level sales, but I used to be a
network admin for another company.  I pushed and got 10 UPS's for that
company so everything in our server closet could run without power for 45
minutes until we cranked on the generator.  Here in this company, if the
power flickers, all of our orders are lost and nothing can be picked from the
warehouse for almost an hour while servers are rebooted.  I say "hey, ya know
a ups would fix that problem"  and the reply was "yeah, we have them, but
noone knows how to hook them up"
