Ah, I was going by the documentation. No problem, the other suggestion should hold valid. For anyone who was wondering about the state of Melee, I have started the rewrite in C, and it is slow going as I rewrite certain essential funtions such as the scripting language. I've noticed a bug in Melee with Sync that it will crash and exit from combat in the arena (confirmed in 3.52 public and 3.59 alphas) though you can play it until the cows come home from a cmd or command prompt. It's not generating an error message in Melee or in Sync ... so this morning I spent some time getting the Pascal version of the door to compile again for a DOS16 target. I will try to hunt down the problem in the pascal version, at which time I will issue a maintenance release ... 3.59 is a lot more advanced than 3.52 and a few people had it in 2001 when I was around and the bug did not exist then. That was an older sync under 98 instead of modern things in xp so I haven't ruled out DDPlus's window nt support as the culprit. That being said, restricting the user's time in the door will help --- þ Synchronet þ [aceshigh.dyn.dhs.org] - Come fly our friendly skies! .
