AWWW MAN!  you don't know what you're forgetting!  I started at 300, but
REALLY started bbsing at 2400 baud, and let me tell you, SOOO MUCH FUN! 
waiting for those ansi screens to show...it was the life.  I loved sitting at
the console and see one of those poor saps call in and watch the ansi just
crawling...I remember getting my first sportster 14.4 and my callers were all
like "dang dude, do you really need that speed?"  :)
