I don't know what this "Stat" header field is. I've never seen it in any
articles, nor any newsgroup/USENET/article related RFCs. If you can find a
technical reference for it, please paste the url.

NewsLink already imports the "To", "X-Comment-To", and "Apparenty-To" header
fields (if they exist) as the recipient of a given article. If the news reader
creates any of those header fields for the "To" user, then it's already
imported as such. Also, if the "References" or "In-Reply-To" header fields
exist, the original message index is looked-up for the author's name to use as
the "To" field.
