Prices changed little all day.  Volume continued modest, down to +4%
above average.  This in spite of some large M&A announcements.  So I'd
say the day's action was more negative than it seems.

I think most people feel better about the Katerina recovery since Vice
Adm. Thad Allen has been appointed to lead the effort.  Why?  I think
there's something we investors can learn from that.  Execution, in a
word.  The military commitment to effective action will be a pleasant,
if necessary, change.  We could say the same for the heros of Flight 93.

For all I've harangued about strategies, I also talk about tactics.
When things happen we need to know what to do, and be able to DO IT!  If
we don't know what to do in a certain circumstance, then we need to be
committed to remedying THAT situation.  But we can't be effective
investors if we can't ACT effectively.

Timing Signals:  I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch.  If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!!  It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)
