Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Mon Dec 20 2004 03:52 pm Content-type: text/plain Forgive the shortness of my commentary and any typos today, and for a few weeks to come--this weelend someone slammed a car door on my finger-tip, doing significant damage, and I have this big banfage and aluminum splint getting in the way. This one-handed keuboarding is tough. Today the market jumped at the open, reputedly on hopes of a Santa Claus rally, but quickly turned tail and slumped back to yesterday's close by earlt afternoon, where it dribbled along the line until closing. Volume was -1% below average, so there was no great enthusiasm to the day. Just as well. Don't risk more than you can lose anticipating something the market SHOULD do! When too many investors do that the Street finds ways to disappoint them, making them pay for the lesson. Price Vola- Momen- Volume Oscil- Summ.
