Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Tue Mar 23 2004 05:24 pm

Up, down, up, down, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Prices closed
little changed and volume was just -1% below average. For the past
couple weeks volume has been pretty much hugging the moving average, and
that has been falling. Prices fell significantly the last two heavy
volume days. Nobody seems to be bargain hunting yet, and even that
doesn't necessarily portend an up-turn in the market. That indicates a
"lack of enthusiasm" to me.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: SELL Date: 03/10/04 S&P: 1124
Winner or Loser: Winner! By: 72
