Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Wed Dec 10 2003 04:55 pm

Today's action continued the general market weakness, with the Small-Cap
stocks being hit hardest. Volume was up +7% above average again. Not
particularly encouraging action.

Today I saw a news story about Tyco shipping most of the jobs from a
local plant to Mexico, under the premise they need to be a more
efficient company. And I saw one that UPS' CEO released a report on
company sustainability. Sustainability is certainly an open question in
this "race for the bottom" environment.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: BUY Date: 11/24/03 S&P: 1052
