Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Thu Aug 28 2003 06:41 pm

Not much to report. Sure, the market took a hit around 10AM, slowly
fought its way back around mid-day, stayed flat most of the afternoon,
then rise a bit before the close. Volume was a little higher than
yesterday, but still below average. Wait till you see tomorrow's
volume! I'll bet you could set up a bowling alley on the trading floor.

Well, Labor Day may be the unofficial end of summer, but I'm not looking
for that to mark a return to the spring's rally. There's still the
issue of the mutual funds' FY end, and any tax loss selling they need to
do.

Price Vola- Momen- Volume Oscil- Summ.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: BUY Date: 08/12/03 S&P: 990
