Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Fri Aug 15 2003 06:20 pm

The NYSE opened on time this morning, and the NASDAQ is all done in
computers so it came online normally. Only the AMEX had trouble
starting up. Well, not exactly, public transportation had to wait for
ConEd to get it together. THAT affected the market--"suppose you gave a
party and nobody came." Looks like a lot of the floor traders decided
to take Friday off. Volume was -58% below average! So when it comes to
the market action today, I guess this one's a write-off.

Price Vola- Momen- Volume Oscil- Summ.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: BUY Date: 08/12/03 S&P: 990
