Greenspan accepts! You haven't seen me as grumpy as I'd be with the
economy in this sort of shape with some other political appointment at
the Fed! As far as I'm concerned Greenspan's got more credibility than
anybody else I can think of inside the Beltway.

OK, we've peeked above my "Bear Market Line". I hope it isn't "peaked"!
I'm not willing to crawl into his den to make sure he's there just yet!
Volume remained high, so the rally lives on. Remember, these things
tend to go to extremes and corrections ultimately come. In the long run
it's the economy, it's earnings (ANNUAL earnings not just a quarter),
it's CEO's willing to expand their businesses with capital expenditures,
add good paying jobs in America, and providing some earning security for
American workers that will drive the Market higher. I don't see that
yet. So if I'm a bull-rider, I'm a nervous one.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: BUY Date: 04/01/03 S&P: 858
