Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Tue Mar 11 2003 05:59 pm

I read this in InfoWorld this morning regarding AOL/TW.

"The media giant once poised to usher in a new era of content creation,
control, and delivery to the masses is hemorrahaging money and remains
largely unfocused. ... Former CTO Bill Raduchel, let go by the behemoth
late last year, says attempts at innovative technology integration
withered due to lack of care and feeding from the business side of the
house."

Does that sound apropos of yesterday's commentary?

I also read today that Buffett is hunting regulated utilities. No dummy
he! A regulated, guaranteed profit is better than the speculative
unregulated market. Who thought that one up anyhow? Conservative
investing strategy suggest Buffet's course of action. By the way,
Berkshire's EPS was reported at $2,795! ;-)

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)

Last Signal: SELL Date: 01/17/03 S&P: 902
Winner or Loser: Loser By: -7
