I am not much of a programmer myself but do enough to get by with my personal 
needs for the games. Steve Meier was a great source of encouragement when I 
wrote my first util for BRE. It shocked me when he crashmailed me back saying 
that they were up for download on his BBS at the time.

I do have another util for each game that generates a dropfile from player 
reports. Only thing is it is setup to use a dorinfo1.def because that was what 
my BBS used at the time. It is using FKFossil routines and reports to the user 
that it is running and what it is doing. Merely has to be run prior to the game 
loading. User here have found it easier for me to generate the data and 
autopost it to their own mailbox each night. Depending on the user I delete any 
old message according to how old they want the data left there.

 AR>  Getting the author to pop in once an a while would also help <g>  

It would be nice to see some ongoing work on the games because they still need 
some work done to fix problems that have been there since inception. Guess I am 
dreaming though. :-)
