You need to find a good fix for why BRE is
hogging your CPU. Like I said, when I use start /low BRE FULL it never
runs, seems like a com port issue. That's why I tried getting wcserver.exe
to start high. I just wonder if netmodem32 in conjunction with start /low
BRE  would be a fix.

Fact is, I haven't confirmed it to be a COM issue yet. One night I tried
10 times, and only the first time got a COM error dialog box. But anyway,
that's the first lead I'm going with. I think start /low with Barren
Realms would work, but the start command isn't designed to work with a
program that uses 10 year old com routines over telnet.
