JD added that as a cheating util to prevent time problems. Ie if someone say wants to play more than 1 time a day they can play with the clock. JD did this to prevent such things. Its a good thing at times but can be annoying. It should clea rup in a day or two. If you reset your clock. You could try to reset it to the original date and reset the game then set clock back.
