Sorry.  He is correct.  If you make a statement or claim, you must be able to 
support it.  The burden of proof lies solely with the one making the claim or 
statement.  If you make a claim or statement and it is false, you can face 
charges of slander or libel.

In the courtroom, you would have to substantiate your claim, or face paying 
reparations.

Name calling is not a defense when you make the statements.
