This is mostly because of bickering between the two big American political parties, not because of any real threat. But it is making things difficult for the commercial international space business. The planet Mars. The word Mars comes form the ancient Latin language, it is older than the English language. A lot of information about the Mars spacecraft is published on the JPL web site. For autonomous attitude control the interplanetary probes use a combination of gyros, star sensors and sun sensors. Sensors of the star Canopus are popular, because Canopus is a very bright star at 90 degress to the ecliptic (solar system plane). For trajectory control, it is tracked by radar transponder, mid-course correction manouvers are calculated by specialists at a control center, and rocket burns are executed on control center command.
