Hello, they call me Mitch.

I'd be glad to, Patrick. they are abbreviations left over from the days when 
modems were much slower, and every byte counted.

IMHO; In my humble opinion.
ESH: Experience, strength & hope.

I'd also like to add that like many recovering drunks in my area and others, I 
do not have an original thought or idea about recovery in my head. Everything I 
say is something I've heard somewhere within the fellowship of AA. Yet, as 
such, it also remains JMHO.

BTW, I celebrate my sobriety from the time I smoked my last joint, 4 july 1985, 
and not some earlier date when I had my last drink and then tried marijuanna 
maintenance. Over the years I've had a few people in AA tell me just about 
everything about that, that's why I grateful that even though AA itself has no 
opinion on outside issues, and marijuanna is one of those outside issues, AA 
says that I'm the only one who can determine when I got sober. And when I'm 
honest with myself, as I must be to be sober and recover in AA, that's the only 
day I figure it can be. JMHO.
