It's a funny world I'm thinkin'... Spent New Year's Eve at some friends just at 
the edge of town and met a guy from N.O. (had the accent and everything) and it 
made me a little bit nostalgic for the time I lived out in Boutte. Not the 
drinking part but the people part. AAMOF, if it weren't for the drinking part I 
probably would have enjoyed the people part a lot more. Although at that time I 
was in a pretty good maintainance mode with my alcoholism...

Anyway, I've never actually been to Mardi Gras, drunk _or_ sober. One of these 
days I'll make it. I still have relatives in Baton Rouge.
