As I believe that every reader of my sharings on the Internet can choose to not read what I post, or to delete all my texts, or put them away in another directory for later reading, I also believe in the total freedom to be had in the trusting atmosphere of the 12 Steps Way of Life. If not, it can't be helped. Yes, I am enlightened by so many good words day after day. Sometimes the AA big book, others the Bible, or the Guru Gita, or any of Wilhelm Reich or Arthur Janov or Scott Peck observations on people growing emotionally or spiritually. All the words these people or AA members or other 12 Steps members, quoted anonymously in the Big Book, or in NA blue book, or SA white book, or OA's red book were manifesting Life as it is for them. No differences between all of us suffering. I was also touched by songs like Led Zeppelin Dazed and Confused, Stairway to Heaven, Since I've been Loving You Babe, or the Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil, or You Can't Get No Satisfaction, or the Beatles or is it John Lennon Let It Be. But the song that has touched me the most over the past week was presented on the Ally McBeal show on Jan. 15, 01. Robert Downey Jr. sang Chances Are to Calista Flockhart at first and then Vonda Shepard sang and later continued along with Robert Downey. The 2:40 minutes of the end of that David E. Kelley production has turned out to be, for me, the most powerful love awakening inspiration of past years. Let me share those words with you. Of course seeing the video is all the more enthralling as we see 5 loving couples enjoying intimacy together and one lone character, actress Lucy Liu, illustrate for us the quiet sadness of loneliness. Just enjoy the words as I transcribed them from the video. This most likely is copyrighted to David E. Kelly or to a TV network, but I believe that nobody minds when material being used for the good of All.
