You may wish to check with AS> other sysops running Maximus. I am not a SysOp but a user on a Max 3.01 BBS. My understanding is that SX and Maximus don't agree on the message numbering system or the lack of it. Anyway, you very likely will not be able to change message areas selections via offline configuration. I can't on the BBS I use but it has many message areas. If you have a small number of message areas you might give it a try. If it doesn't work it will mess up your online selection of areas to download and you will have to reset them online. I don't do a lot of offline configuration but I think most of the remainder of the options should work as long as there are allowed by the SysOp. Take a look at the configuration on the SysOp's end. You should be able to enable the other options. I.e. You can enable or disable file requests and set the limit on the number of files downloaded at each logon. Good luck, Charles P.S.
