Saw it this past weekend, which was one week after it opened here. I thought it 
was a pretty good movie, but anyone going solely for "hack and slash" action 
will be bored during fairly large parts of it. I was a bit surprised at how 
much it differed from the game in the way things like magic were treated, but 
it was still a good movie, albeit way too reminiscent of Star Wars. One scene 
near the end has the hero swordfighting with the evil mage that was the prime 
villain. With the sparks flying and this taking place on a high ledge or 
balcony, all I could think was, "Light saber, anyone?"
