I don't actually know anything about the World of Darkness, just that it's way more popular among local gamers (that I've observed) than xD&D. I haven't actually lookd at Ravenloft either. I'm at the point where I'm willing to buy campaign settings sans rules (I tend to adapt to freeform anyway) but things more along the lines of Legend of the Five Rings or Over the Edge (if I'd bought that for setting originally). I have no faith in T$R's current ability to put out worlds I want to game in.
