But wont that take a really long time to finish...? Oh gosh, yes. I haven't seen a post from Sword of Peace or City on this echo in forever, though Real Life is known to interfere. I *was* running the Black Wall on this echo, and if you have internet access, archives can be found at http://www.angelfire.com/scifi/blackwall. Those turns were what happened after ~9 mos. of gaming. They *look* like a lot of posts, but that was because I had 9 players. If you look at the individual storylines, they took quite a while to get moving! On the bright side, if you do find a group that's stable and well-established, you can look forward to potentially years of slow-paced, deliberative, high-quality gaming. The trick is to find a game that suits you and that isn't too likely to go belly-up early on...and to be willing to keep trying. After all, GM's (like me, alas) need a learning-period, too. > y> Do you find modules or pre-made scenarios helpful for GMing? > > Since I have no creativity at all, I more or less need pre-made scenarios. I like co-GMing the Legend of the Five Rings campaign that's going on, but I do miss getting to concentrate on playing just one character, instead of a group of NPC's!
