Subj : BATH] The game ends, resignation, and final wrapup To : sstubbs@shout.net From : Kay Shapero Date : Wed Aug 23 2000 05:16 am 21 Aug 00 23:32, Stephen Stubbs wrote; s> This is the official resignation of the game- Bath of Return. Rats! It was much fun while it lasted. Thanks for GMing it, and for giving us the rest of the story. s> Jana Many Horses received viewpoints about vengeance and was very s> close to meeting The Rider and given her call. Unless something serious happened to change her mind, she would have accepted it - the whole thing had her thinking very deeply about who and what she really was. Nice going! (And now I've got an interlocking set of horse barbarian clans and their gods I can use next time I run a campaign that needs some.) s> It was interesting to me that none of the characters ever used s> their "immediate recall" device to be returned immediately to their s> bodies back at the bath house. Never even thought about it - Jana was convinced of the physical reality of her surroundings, and if anything assumed the device would have returned her current body to Yondalla's house. s> Remember Melanie telling you that if things ever got too tough for s> you, With the possible exception of when her uncle attacked her and she didn't think of the belt, they never did, and as it turned out it was better that she didn't remember. I'm glad it does turn out to be a vision quest - I don't think Jana would have ever quite adapted to being male. I got the story of Jana's adulthood trip about half finished before getting distracted by other things. If you're still interested and the other moderator doesn't object, I'll finish it up and post it here. --- Msged TE 06 (pre) # Origin: StormGate Aerie/Home of the FILK echo ...
