I do, actually, now that you've pointed it out, and thanks for putting it in those clear terms. Happy to help people understand. > As to your question, I'll answer in conceptual terms as > best as I can. And thanks again for this answer. I've looked over things and I do hit a snag at several points, unfortunately, especially with the script. I can sympathize with the site owner's caution, and unfortunately I'm way too busy to pull the website to another location entirely (assuming I could find a cooperative one quickly) and transfer all the files and so on. I have to keep reminding myself that most people don't have Microsoft Visual Studio or even FrontPage. Alas, both tools make switching servers quick and painless. :( I suppose this means pulling out the echo, which I'm sorry for. I did want to participate in it at some level. I'm also sorry for already cluttering it with so many messages related to the game. This will be my last. I sadly must concur, although it is a lose-lose outcome for everyone. I do understand your reasons even if I don't really agree with your conclusion. :/ All I can do at this stage is say that the offer to let you use Conch still stands if you have a change of heart down the line. Conch isn't doing too well right now, but that will change even if I have to install NT and rebuild the gate from scratch. No mere machine gets the better of me. :) > Of course I'm really telling you to automate your site even > if you never forward a single post to this echo. Oh, that much is already done, thank goodness. =) I'm glad.
